NOTE:

*Auction of INR 1,094 cr. in Government debt old category, INR 4,451 cr. in Government debt long term category, INR 5,071 cr. in Corporate debt old category shall be done on the NSE from 15:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs, on November 20, 2012 as per SEBI circular no. CIR/IMD/FIIC/12/2012  dated April 27, 2012.                                                                                                                                                                                                As per circular CIR/IMD/FIIC/22/2012 dated November 07,2012,  FII/sub-accounts may avail debt limits in the Corporate Debt Long Term Infra category  without obtaining SEBI approval till the overall FII investments reaches 90% of INR 53,806 crore (i.e. INR 48,425 crore), after which the auction mechanism shall be initiated for allocation of remaining limits (INR 5381 crores) 

While the government announces the limits on debt investments  to FIIs in USD terms, for allocation and monitoring purposes, these limits are converted into INR terms using the RBI reference rate as on the date of the announcements/effective dates.
