NOTE:

Auction of INR 1,061 cr. in Government Debt old category, INR 9,847 cr. in Govt Debt long term category and INR 5,331 cr. in Corporate Debt old category has been done on the NSE from 15:30 hrs to 17:30 hrs on March 20, 2013 as per SEBI circular no. CIR/IMD/FIIC/12/2012  dated April 27, 2012 and SEBI circular no. CIR/IMD/FIIC/3/2013 dated February 08, 2013. The limits have been fully subscribed.                                                                                                                                                                                            
As per circular CIR/IMD/FIIC/22/2012 dated November 07,2012,  FII/sub-accounts may avail debt limits in the Corporate Debt Long Term Infra category  without obtaining SEBI approval till the overall FII investments reaches 90% of INR 53,806 crore (i.e. INR 48,425 crore), after which the auction mechanism shall be initiated for allocation of remaining limits (INR 5381 crores)

While the government announces the limits on debt investments  to FIIs in USD terms, for allocation and monitoring purposes, these limits are converted into INR terms using the RBI reference rate as on the date of the announcements/effective dates.
