SEBI Circulars

Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has issued following recent circulars in respect of depository system. Depository Participants (DPs) are advised to diligently follow the instructions laid down by SEBI for safety, integrity and efficient functioning of the depository system.

	Proof of Identity (POI) and Proof of Address (POA) for opening a Beneficiary Owner (BO) Account for non-body corporates.
	Exemption of DPs from giving hard copies of transaction statements to BOs
	Time duration for transfer of funds and securities from member to client.
