The securities of India's established companies are all admitted into CDSL for dematerialisation.

CHARGES
 

CDSL's annual custody fee payable by Issuers are based on the greater of Rs 8.00(*) per folio (ISIN position) in the depository or the nominal value of admitted securities as per the table mentioned below.

Above 5 crores and upto 10 crores Rs.15,000 per annum
Above 10 crores and upto 20 crores Rs.30,000 per annum
Above 20 crores Rs.50,000 per annum

* Plus service tax as applicable (i.e 10.3% at present)

A non-refundable processing fee of Rs.20,000/- plus applicable taxes, shall be payable by Issuers for admission of listed and/or unlisted securities. A non-refundable processing fee of Rs.20,000/- plus applicable taxes shall be payable by Issuers for the removal of unlisted securities.

  • Admission of Commercial Papers (CPs), issued in electronic form an annual charge of Rs.10,000/- plus service tax shall be levied for allotment of CPs for the financial year (April – March). .

  • Admission of certificates of deposit (CDs), issued in electronic form
    a charge of Rs 1000/- plus service tax shall be levied for each allotment.

  • In case of admission of Pass through Certificate (PTCs) ,a charge of Rs 5000/- plus service tax is levied for processing all issues of PTCs under an ISIN is charged in addition to the above charges.
