Electronic Access to Securities Information (easi) is CDSL's internet facility, which enables Beneficial Owners / Clearing Members having demat account with CDSL system to view their holdings and obtain transactions status through the internet. easi is accessible anywhere - anytime through CDSL's website - www.cdslindia.com
Any BO who has an account with a DP of CDSL and whose DP has registered under easi can avail of the easi facility. All that is required is a personal computer with internet access.
d) If BO ID is valid and the DP is registered under easi, some more details like login id, email id, tel. no., security question, etc. have to be filled in.
e) Terms and Conditions for registration to easi would then be reflected. Once terms and conditions of easi are agreed upon and if the login id is valid, the BO Registration Form can be printed.
f) Complete the BO Registration Form with signatures of all the account holders.
g) Submit duly completed form to the DP.
h) DP will authenticate the registration to easi, if signatures of all the account holders are in order.
i) On registration a password would be mailed to Email ID of the BO as mentioned in the BO Registration Form. As security measure, it is advised that BO should provide an exclusive Email ID, which is accessible by him only. CDSL shall not be responsible for leakage of password in case another person accesses their Email ID.
j) On receipt of password, BO can access easi by entering login id and password.
